| Hi Tech manufactures specialized rust removers or converters that help in the recovery of the metal without causing any dimensional changes to the components. These are effective in cleaning the components such that there is no rust left on the surface of the metal. The reaction that causes rusting is reversed using these chemicals and the total amount of rust is converted into steel. The process involves dipping of the component in our RUST-X Rust Converting solution for around 2 minutes and washing with water and then dipping in our VCI Rust Preventive Oil. This will help recover the component without any need for grinding, machining or any other cleaning operation. Rust Removers are water based. |

| Water forms an active ingredient of a number of metal processing fluids such as Cutting Oils, Coolants, Foundry operations, Induction Hardening fluids, Quenchants, leak test tank, vibro cleaning etc. This water-based additive utilizes VCI technology for maximum protection. Hi Tech Rust Preventive WATER Additives contains chemicals that adjust the pH of water and neutralizes it in such a way that no corrosion reaction can occur in presence of these chemicals. There is a bacterial growth in the cutting oil baths, or coolant baths where solution is stored. The bacterial growth also results in production of acids which further expedites the corrosion reaction. These chemicals also work as preservatives and prevent bacterial, algae or fungal growth in these baths. In case there is any water on the components after machining or other operations, the rust preventive coolant additive shall prevent a corrosion action of this water on the components.
